Stormwater Quality Permit is a permit that is required as part of the Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) from the State of Texas. A development is required to have this permit when it meets the definition of "new development" or "significant redevelopment".
Integrated Eco Solutions provides turnkey plan development including initial design support, narrative development, compilation of exhibits and permit documents, real property filings, plan submission and as-built certification. This level of support removes the burden from our clients so they can focus on project design and/or construction.
Once the project stormwater quality plan is complete, and the permit renewal date is set, ongoing annual inspections and certifications must be completed by a registered professional engineer. IES will contract with owners to ensure all aspects of this process are taken care of including verifying current permit status, reviewing stormwater quality management plan, completing structural control inspections and report, maintenance and/or repairs, engineers annual certification, filing of all paperwork and payment of permit fees.
Stormwater runoff from construction activities can have a significant impact on water quality. As stormwater flows over a construction site, it picks up pollutants like sediment, debris, and chemicals, and deposits them in creeks, streams, rivers, lakes, etc. The construction stormwater general permit is one way to authorize this discharge. Integrated Eco Solutions can help you obtain your NPDES Construction General Permit for construction site, perform routine inspections, and create Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs). We will identify cost-effective BMPs, and engineer short and long-term stormwater management systems including drainage controls, piping, treatment facilities, erosion controls and more.
